Youth Development & Resilience Coordinator – Full-Time

Wage: $22.50–$26.50/hour, based on experience

Position: Full-Time | Hours vary Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required

About the Position

The Youth Development & Resilience (YDR) Coordinator provides one-on-one support to youth, helping them build safe and positive relationships with peers, family, culture, and community.

The coordinator supports youth well-being and resilience through meaningful interactions, experiences, activities, and skill-building opportunities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and overall development.

The position manages an intensive caseload of 4–6 youth and oversees the delivery of universal and targeted programs provided by Program Support Facilitators.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage an intensive caseload of 4–6 youth, including individualized support, service planning, referrals, and case management.

· Provide strengths-based, youth-focused support using trauma-informed practices.

· Support youth in developing healthy relationships, coping strategies, life skills, and community connections.

· Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, data collection, and FRN reporting.

· Coordinate and oversee youth programs, workshops, activities, and community initiatives.

· Mentor and support Program Support Facilitators with program planning and delivery.

· Monitor program quality, participant engagement, and outcomes.

· Build positive relationships with youth, families,



community partners, and service providers.

· Participate in team meetings, training, case consultations, and community initiatives.

· Support program evaluation and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:

· Valid driver's license

· Reliable transportation required

· Ability to work flexible hours based on program and client needs

· Successful completion of required background checks and screening

· Post-secondary education and/or relevant experience in a related field

· Relevant training/ certifications: ASIST, CTIP certifications, Mental Health First Aid, First Aid, Trauma informed certifications

Qualifications & Knowledge

Experience or knowledge in youth development, trauma-informed practices, mental health, substance use, family dynamics, and working with diverse youth populations is an asset.
