Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient overnight Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, with experience in food and beverage preparation. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for customers while ensuring high-quality beverage and food service. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry, including food handling, cashiering, and food safety practices. A positive attitude, solid time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and giving change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling food items or snacks.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.

Requirements

- Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of the food industry standards, including food safety and handling procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Food service experience including serving, food preparation, and cashiering is desirable.
