Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in First Aid or acceptable equivalencies. This role is essential in guiding students through their educational journey, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. This position would be a contractual part-time position and would require travel between our three locations and sometimes on-site training for different clients.

Duties

- Facilitate classroom discussions and guide students through on floor participation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources.
- Stay updated on educational trends and best practices to continuously improve teaching methods.




- Familiarize themselves with WorkSafeBC & Canadian Red Cross curriculum and program Standards

Requirements

- Occupational First Aid level 3/Advanced First Aid certificate or acceptable equivalency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning experience for students.
- Experience with classroom management techniques.
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
- Passion for teaching and dedication to student success.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory.
