Overview

We are looking for a caring and reliable caregiver to provide care for my father in Surrey BC.(Cloverdale area)

About the client:

- Mandarin-speaking 92-year-old male
- History of stroke, Parkinson’s disease and dementia
- Wheelchair dependent

Main duties:

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities.
- Assist with transfers and mobility.
- Assist with feeding and monitor during meals
- Light housekeeping when the client is resting
- No laundry/ No meal preparation required

Schedule:

- Sundays to Wednesdays or 4 days per week
- 8:00 AM–10:00 PM One full shift(2-4pm unpaid off duty hours)
- OR split shift: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM and 4:00 PM–10:00 PM

The schedule can also be discussed based on the applicant’s availability

Requirements:





- Previous experience caring for seniors is preferred
- Experience with dementia, stroke or Parkinson’s disease is an asset
- Experience with Hoyer lift transfers is an asset, but training will be provided if needed.
- Patient, reliable and compassionate
- Able to work independently

Location: Surrey/Cloverdale, BC
Pay: $22-25/hour depends on working experience
