Test Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Test Analyst for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Test Analyst - Job Description:
The Test Analyst will participate in Quality Assurance for workstreams within the Concorde Program, a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and productivity. The project involves transitioning to a variable cost platform for Cheque Processing, which is highly complex and spans multiple lines of business and technology groups.
Test Analyst - Responsibilities:
- Review requirements and develop detailed test scenarios and test cases during UAT and E2E Test Phases
- Execute functional, integration, and regression testing
- Log, track, and retest defects
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to validate expected outcomes
- Provide testing status updates and support release activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end testing and successful project delivery
Test Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
- 3+ years of QA experience supporting technology projects
- Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices
- Hands-on experience with functional, integration, and regression testing, including defect management
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Proficiency with HP ALM and Jira
- Experience with test automation and software process improvement
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Test Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Cheque Processing (E.g. Day 1, Day 2, RDC)
- Retail banking experience

This is an 8-month contract position.
