Senior HRIS Business Analyst (Workday)

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities Include:

- Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Workday, providing guidance on system capabilities, solution design, and best practices.
- Lead the analysis, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Workday functionality.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
- Support Workday enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and documentation while providing expert-level troubleshooting and user support.
- Coordinate testing activities, validate system changes, and monitor Workday releases to assess business impact.

Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:

- 5+ years of experience supporting, implementing, and optimizing HRIS/HCM platforms.




- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
- Strong expertise across Workday Core HCM, Talent, Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Payroll.
- Experience with Workday business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields, EIBs, condition rules, and data loads.
- Experience supporting Workday integrations, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Workday certifications are considered an asset.
