Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the premises, identifying potential threats or irregularities.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
- Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, initiating appropriate emergency protocols when necessary.
- Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and logs to maintain accurate security records.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and intervening in suspicious behaviors or activities.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) operation and monitoring techniques.
- Knowledge of loss prevention methods and best practices to minimize theft and damage.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors.
- Certification in security procedures or relevant law enforcement training is a plus but not mandatory.
Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
