Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations, to accurately diagnose health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including medication administration and therapy options.
- Manage acute care cases efficiently, providing immediate interventions and coordinating follow-up care as necessary.
- Engage in research activities to stay current with medical advancements and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner for precise documentation, data collection, and patient information management.
- Collaborate with specialists in pediatrics, pain management,



home care, and other fields to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, medication usage, and preventive care strategies.

Skills

- Proven hospital experience with a strong understanding of acute care procedures and protocols.
- Experience in research methodologies and data collection to support clinical studies or quality improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems like Epic and Cerner.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and compassionately.
- Experience in medication administration, pain management techniques, and home care services.
- Strong understanding of medical office operations combined with medical office experience for seamless patient interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and data collection.
