LC Bakery Equipment Services

Canada

We're Hiring — Electrician / PLC Programmer

We build real equipment for real production environments.

Industrial ovens. Proofers. Conveyors. Pizza systems. Custom bakery equipment — designed, built, and assembled in-house. None of it runs without a control panel wired right, and a program that makes it think.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for an Electrician/PLC Programmer who can build the panel, wire it, and write the code that runs it — not just one or the other. You'll partner with our Equipment Designer to turn SolidWorks concepts into real electrical drawings, then bring them to life on the shop floor. And when a customer needs a hand with an install or repair, you're the one who goes.

What you'll be doing:

- Build, wire and install control panels for our ovens, proofers and bakery equipment — blueprint to finished panel
- Create electrical drawings and schematics in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, working directly with our Equipment Designer
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley, Omron) for new equipment and existing production lines
- Program robots and automation interfaces
- Get to the real root cause of a machine failure — not just the quick fix
- Support our Service team with installs and repairs at customer sites (manufacturing plants and retail bakery locations)
- Train associates on new equipment and changes

You'll do well here if you:

- Can move between wiring a panel and writing PLC code without missing a beat

- Like solving problems other people can't figure out
- Take ownership of a job from blueprint to startup
- Don't mind travel when a customer needs hands-on help
- Communicate well — you'll be training people and talking to customers

What we're looking for:

- Industrial Electrician License (442A) or Construction & Maintenance Electrician License (309A)
- 3+ years of electrical/PLC programming experience
- Strong Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming experience (RSLogix 5000, RSView Studio)
- Robot programming experience is an asset
- Comfortable in AutoCAD/SolidWorks for drawings and schematics
- Willing to travel to customer sites as needed

Why people like working here:

- You build it, program it, and see it running in a real bakery
- Salaried role with paid overtime — $85,000–$90,000 to start
- Family-owned company, 30+ years in business, real growth opportunity
- Your work ships to real customers
