Employment terms:

- Pay: $25/hour ($19 base + $6 WE)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:00–5:00/5:30 pm
- Schedule: About 15–17.5 hours/week
- Role: After-school-age program
- Requirement: BC ECE Certificate
- References: 3 professional references
- Other requirements: Criminal Record Check and immunization record
- No sponsorship: We don't sponsor LMIA, BC PNP, work or student visas.

Responsibilities:

- Pick up children safely from elementary schools and accompany them to the centre.
- Complete daily set-up, preparation, and clean-up duties.
- Take initiative and provide age-appropriate guidance and support to children.
- Provide strong and direct supervision to ensure children’s safety and well-being.
- Ensure the health, safety, and emotional well-being of all children.
- Work collaboratively with children, parents,



and centre staff while following the centre’s philosophy and policies.
- Give and receive direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and career development days.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, caregivers, and staff.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment for all children and their families.
- Value, respect, and nurture the individual differences, strengths, and needs of all learners.
