Position Summary

At Grimco, our success starts in the warehouse. Our Warehouse Associates play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive accurate and timely orders. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn all facets of our operations. For this particular role, we are looking for an individual comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking and Shipping:

- Pick and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency
- Ship and receive orders using appropriate shipping systems
- Accurately enter shipping and receiving data into ERP systems

Warehouse Operations:

- Load and unload delivery trucks manually and using equipment
- Operate forklift and order picker equipment safely
- Stock and organize inventory upon receipt of shipment
- Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy

Receiving and Inventory:

- Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
- Track inventory and order status using ERP systems
- Support team members and customers with order-related inquiries

Logistics and Coordination:

- Assist couriers and delivery drivers with manifests and routing
- Support efforts to improve delivery efficiency and workflow

General Duties and Safety:

- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse setting
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safety-first mindset
- Support additional warehouse tasks and special projects as needed

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or general labour experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems considered an asset




- Forklift and Order Picker certification considered an asset (training provided)
- Additional language skills, including French, are an asset
- Strong work ethic and reliability

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing 50+ lbs on a frequent basic
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights as needed
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills including shipping software, ERP systems, and MS Office
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to safety
- Interest in long-term growth and development within Grimco

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
