Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Manage guest inquiries or complaints professionally, turning any concerns into positive experiences




- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met consistently
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks efficiently

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks smoothly during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, tips, and cash handling purposes
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Previous kitchen or food industry experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in serving and food preparation
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating welcoming guest experiences
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
