Patito & Tokio Pet Grooming Salon is growing! We’re looking for an experienced, caring groomer to join our team on Eglinton West in Toronto.
We value thoughtful handling, quality grooming and a supportive team environment. As we prepare to open a second location, we’re excited to welcome someone who wants to grow with us and help every pet feel comfortable and well cared for.
What we offer
- 50% commission on grooming services performed, plus 100% of your tips.

Your responsibilities
- Perform full grooms, baths, tidy-ups, de-shedding and nail trims according to each pet’s coat, needs and the owner’s preferences.
- Use secure, patient handling techniques, adapting your approach for nervous pets, puppies and seniors.
- Assess coat condition and communicate grooming recommendations or concerns before proceeding.
- Maintain clear grooming notes and work closely with the team to keep appointments running smoothly.
- Keep your workstation,
tools and shared grooming areas clean and disinfected.
- Prioritize animal welfare and ask for assistance whenever needed.
What we’re looking for
- Previous professional grooming experience and the ability to complete full grooms independently.
- Confident clipper and scissor skills, with knowledge of different coat types and grooming styles.
- A patient, reliable approach and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to support teammates.
- Cat grooming experience is an asset, but is not required.
Schedule and location
This is an in-person position in Toronto. Working days will be discussed based on your availability and the salon’s needs. Please include your weekday and weekend availability when applying.
