The Childcare at Central Community Church is a vibrant and growing area within our organization. Our Center provides care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are looking to hire dynamic, passionate and qualified RECEs & ECAs to join our team as Supply Teachers. As a team member, you will be part of providing a quality, Christian-based program that will help shape and impact the early learning of children.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Implement a Christian based program that provides a variety of child initiated and adult- supported experiences for each child to thrive mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially

· Plan, organize and implement a warm, caring environment for each child to grow and be committed to develop strategies to meet the needs of each child

· Partner with families to achieve best results for each individual child

· Ensure that the Center and Program meets the standards set by the Ministry of Education.

WHO YOU ARE: REGISTERED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR:

· Early Childhood Education Diploma

· Must be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)

WHO YOU ARE: EARLY CHILDHOOD ASSISTANTS:

· High School Diploma. Child & Youth Work/Child & Youth Degree/Diploma is an asset

· Experience working with children

General Qualifications:





· Legally able to work in Canada

· Current Standard 1st Aid and CPR Level C certification

· Valid Police Records Check with vulnerable sector screen (requested upon job offer)

· Up-to-date immunization

· Food Handlers Certificate, an asset

· A person who loves working with children up to 5 years of age

· Self-motivated and able to take initiative easily

· Reliable, dependable, and have a solid work ethic

· Able to plan age-appropriate activities for children

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children, their families and other Childcare staff

· Willing to apply Christian principles to the curriculum

· Ability to use frequent light to medium physical effort: lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, pushing, carrying and pulling.

· Must be able to work outdoors for at least 2 hours daily, year round and may be exposed to heat, humidity or cold

· Ability to work within a team.
