We are looking for a 310T Licensed Truck Mechanic

Roslin offers a complete and effective organic waste management solution for the foodservice industry. We provide our customers with grease trap and used cooking oil collection services from start to finish. Roslin is committed to responsible care of our environment. We operate in a green manner by collecting and processing used cooking oil to produce biodiesel. All wastewater collected from grease traps is sent to an anaerobic digester to help produce methane gas and generate electricity.

We are looking for a 310T Licensed Truck Mechanic to join our current four-person mechanic team. This is a diverse mechanical position working in our spacious, bright, modern shop and supporting a wide range of commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, and agricultural machinery.

Duties/Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs on Roslin’s diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment
- Maintain and repair a fleet that includes pickup trucks, vac trucks, Moffett trucks, transport trucks, and tanker trailers
- Complete annual inspections and required safety repairs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related equipment issues
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and agricultural machinery




- Maintain and repair the farm equipment used in Roslin’s 2,000-acre farming operation, including equipment used for planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment supporting Roslin’s cattle operation
- Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE

Qualifications

- Valid 310T Mechanic licence
- Valid Class G Driver’s Licence
- Experience servicing and repairing heavy trucks and commercial vehicles
- Proficient in the use of hand and air tools
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently
- Heavy equipment or agricultural equipment experience is an asset
