About the Role:

The Landscaping Maintenance Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency across all landscaping maintenance projects within the organization. This role involves overseeing the inspection and evaluation of landscaping work to guarantee compliance with company specifications, client expectations, and industry best practices. The manager will lead quality assurance initiatives, develop and implement quality control procedures, and collaborate closely with field teams to address any issues promptly. By maintaining rigorous quality standards, this position directly contributes to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the company’s reputation for excellence. Ultimately, the role ensures that all landscaping maintenance services delivered meet or exceed established benchmarks for safety, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping maintenance with at least 2 years in a quality control or supervisory role.
- Solid knowledge of landscaping maintenance techniques, plant care, pest management, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to conduct detailed inspections and enforce quality standards effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Quality Management or related quality assurance credentials.
- Experience working within the Canadian landscaping industry and familiarity with local environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and digital reporting tools.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of landscaping maintenance work and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control protocols (Quality Playbook) and checklists tailored to Strathmore landscaping maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with landscaping crews, supervisors, and project managers to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Train and mentor field staff on quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements to foster a culture of excellence.
- Prepare detailed quality reports and communicate findings to senior management and clients, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and company policies related to landscaping maintenance.
- Coordinate with procurement and equipment teams to ensure that materials and tools meet quality requirements.
