Lube TechnicianJob Summary

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This position is ideal for someone with a mechanical mindset who enjoys working with vehicles and wants to continue developing their skills in the automotive industry.

The Lube Technician will be responsible for routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and assisting the shop team with additional work as required. We value employees who take pride in their work, stay productive, and contribute to a clean, secure, and efficient shop environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance services.
- Inspect vehicles for maintenance and safety concerns and communicate findings to the appropriate team member.
- Perform tire-related services and other basic automotive maintenance as required.
- Safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, hoists, and shop equipment.
- Follow company procedures and safety standards on every vehicle.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
- Assist technicians and other team members with jobs when needed.
- Stay productive during slower periods by cleaning, organizing, maintaining equipment, or assisting elsewhere in the shop.
- Help provide a positive customer experience by completing work accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve automotive knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

- Previous automotive, tire shop, dealership, or mechanical experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.




- Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in the automotive industry.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting tires, wheels, and automotive components.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work properly.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
