Crossroads Staffing is recruiting an experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client for a residential development project in Orillia. The successful candidate will oversee daily project coordination, contractor management, scheduling, and progress tracking across all phases of construction. This role requires a proactive, organized leader who can maintain momentum, uphold quality standards, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily project activities on site
- Coordinate contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers
- Maintain and update project schedules, timelines, and progress reports
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs to monitor work quality, safety, and compliance
- Identify issues, delays, or risks and implement corrective actions
- Provide clear project updates to ownership, consultants, and internal teams
- Review drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals
- Manage procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Track budgets, costs, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and municipal requirements
- Support inspections, occupancy requirements, and final handovers

Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of project management experience in residential or commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes, trades, and scheduling
- Excellent communication and leadership skills




- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems quickly
- Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and local permitting processes
- Valid driver's license and ability to work on site daily, with occasional travel required (travel will be compensated)

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. or 9:00 am-5:00 pm Bi-Monthly pay.
Pay range: $50,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience.
