Job Summary
We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Kitchen & Bakery Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in preparing and presenting our delicious baked goods and pasta dishes. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing baked goods, including cake decorating and packaging products with care.
- Prepare food platters according to orders and company standards.
- Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for pasta dishes and bakery items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bakery areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure freshness and quality of all products.
- Contribute to the presentation of baked goods,
ensuring they look appealing for customers.
- Follow all health regulations related to food safety and hygiene during food handling and preparation.
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about menu items or bakery products.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques including baking, cooking, and cake decorating is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety practices within the food industry is important.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail when packaging or decorating baked goods.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and customers.
