Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Grounds Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn and grow within the tree care industry. As a Grounds Person, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tree care operations by assisting with various tasks related to ground maintenance, equipment operation, and team support.

Responsibilities:

- Assist tree care crew with on-site operations, including but not limited to tree pruning, removals, and stump grinding.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and other specialized tools under the supervision of experienced crew members.
- Safely and efficiently perform tasks such as debris cleanup, brush hauling, and site preparation to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.




- Participate in training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge related to tree care techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of company vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
- Represent the company professionally and positively while interacting with clients and members of the community.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related field preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and operating heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid DZ driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
