Duties

- Provide expert haircuts, trims, shaves, and styling services tailored to each client's preferences and facial features
- Perform advanced services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
- Apply color treatments using sound knowledge of color theory for vibrant or subtle results
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
- Offer professional advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales opportunities to boost client loyalty




- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and providing constructive feedback to foster skill development

Skills

- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and texturing with an understanding of color theory
- Experience with salon management systems such as MINDBODY or similar software for bookings and client management
- Skilled in performing specialized services like straight razor shaves, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace for clients and staff
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a genuine focus on client needs
- Store management experience or leadership qualities that support team mentoring and front desk responsibilities
- Familiarity with retail math for calculating product sales and commissions effectively
