Our client in Vaughan, a successful constructin company is seeking to hire an Accountant. The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a solid business acumen.

Responsibilities

- Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
- Prepare tax documents
- Compile and analyze financial statements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
- Billing percentage aof completion and holdbacks

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- CPA designation
- Experience working in a union enviromnet
- Very details oriented
- Experience in a trade or general contractor environment

Pay: $441.41-$120,000.00 per year
