Structure Group is a rapidly growing mechanical contractor focused exclusively on the energy, mining, and oil sands sectors. The company specializes in heavy mechanical maintenance, including structural and pressure welding, and supports complex industrial projects across Western Canada.

The Opportunity

- Long-term opportunity for a Journeyperson Millwright supporting plant maintenance and projects in the Elk Valley region for our mining industry clients.
- 4 x 10 hours shifts with lots of opportunity for overtime.
- Indoor/outdoor work workplace with a focus on safety, execution, and growth
- Start date: Sept 8, 2026 (orientation to be completed prior to start)
- Position is local to Sparwood BC

Key Responsibilities

- Install, align, and assemble mechanical equipment and systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform equipment setting, leveling, and alignment
- Repair and maintenance of process equipment throughout the plant
- Assist with mechanical installation, rigging, and commissioning activities
- Inspect and verify mechanical installations meet quality standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and company service vehicle
- Follow all site safety requirements and participate in toolbox talks

Qualifications





- Journeyperson Millwright certification required (Red Seal preferred)
- Previous experience in plant maintenance, ability to adapt to wide variety of projects including welding
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts or more as required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work within a team environment
- Dual ticket will result in potential for additional compensation
- Willingness to become involved in our rope access work scopes including going through rope access training

Project Details

- Location: Sparwood BC Area (in-town work, no camp)
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-12 hours per day
- Duration: Full time with room for growth
- Start Date: Sept 8, 2026 (orientation prior to start)
- Must be local to Elk Valley region, if not must be willing to be in the area during working days.

Pay: $56.00-$64.00 per hour
