Nimoosh Grooming & Boutique is looking for groomers! We are an Indigenous-owned salon in Toronto’s East End and want to add new members to our team. We take on dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes, including those who are considered difficult/challenging. If you think you might be interested in expanding your experience, keep reading!
The ideal candidate:
- Is comfortable or willing to work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages
- Has excellent communication skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Remains calm in a fast-paced environment and high-stress situations
- Can balance client expectations and pet needs professionally and articulately.
- Loves dogs!
Relevant assets
- Your own clients
- Cat grooming/handling experience (if you are a cat groomer, we would still love to hear from you!)
- Pet first aid or CPR
- Any specialty experience (e.g. hand-stripping, hair dye, training certificates, etc.)

Salary
- Commission-based at 40%-50% depending on experience.
Experience required:
- At least 6 months of professional grooming experience required.
