Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Counterbalance to facilitate the productive movement of goods within our distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order picking processes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain a clean work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, with a strong focus on forklift operation.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, as required by the job duties.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
