County Drugstore is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone who is dependable, organized, friendly, and comfortable working in a fast paced community pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience specifically in a Pharmacy Assistant role
- Experience must include pharmacy dispensary duties and prescription processing; cashier-only or front-store experience does not meet this requirement
- Experience using the Kroll pharmacy computer system
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a busy pharmacy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

Responsibilities

- Assist with prescription intake, processing, and preparation
- Enter and update patient and prescription information in Kroll
- Process third-party insurance claims and troubleshoot common billing issues
- Answer phones and assist patients with prescription-related inquiries




- Operate the cash register and provide excellent customer service
- Manage prescription pickup, filing, and workflow
- Receive, order, and maintain pharmacy inventory
- Assist with stock management and expiry checks
- Perform basic clerical and administrative duties
- Help maintain a clean, professional, and organized pharmacy environment
