THE ROLE

You've worked a kitchen long enough to know the difference between a station that's surviving a rush and one that's running it. You don't need someone reminding you to reset your board, get ahead on prep, or call it when the dish pit's backing up. You just do it, because that's who you are.

We need that person in our kitchen.

You'll keep your station clean, stocked, and moving — whether that's washing down through a rush without letting it pile up, or firing plates on the line with the speed and consistency our guests expect. The menu is fun and unique, and you'll learn our prep and plating standards fast.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Kitchen experience (dishwashing, prep, or line) is an asset — attitude and work ethic matter more than years

- You keep pace during a rush without losing quality or cleanliness

- Comfortable on your feet for a full shift, in a fast, hot, high-volume kitchen

- Detail-oriented without being reminded — clean station, clean hands, clean habits

- Legally authorized to work in Manitoba

- Friday and Saturday evenings are a must — if that doesn't work, this isn't the right fit

- Reliable way to get to and from work

- Food Handler Certification is required (or willingness to obtain one before starting).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Permanent Position, Part Time.
- 15 to 30 hours per week.
- 2 years or more of experience as a cook is an asset.
- Post secondary education an asset.
- Good communication skills a must.
- Understanding of food safety and professionalism.
- Team oriented attitude.
- Must provide own chef tools, have a cell phone. Must have their own transportation, valid driver’s license.
- Legal work status in Manitoba
- Able to work in a fast paced environment. Able to work long hours and lift over 50lbs. Work can involve standing for long periods of time.
