Property Partners Contracting is a growing maintenance and general contracting company serving residential, commercial, strata, and property management clients throughout Greater Victoria.

We handle a wide variety of work, from everyday maintenance calls and suite repairs to renovations, painting, drywall, flooring, appliance installations, exterior work, and larger property improvement projects.

We are looking for a reliable Jack of All Trades / Maintenance & Renovation Technician who is comfortable taking on different types of work and solving problems in the field.

This is not a position where you will be doing the exact same task every day.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on the project, your work may include:

- General residential and commercial maintenance
- Drywall installation, patching, mudding, sanding, and repairs
- Interior and exterior painting
- Caulking and sealing
- Trim, baseboard, and finishing work
- Door, lock, hinge, and hardware repairs
- Cabinet and countertop repairs
- Minor carpentry and wood repairs
- Flooring repairs and installation
- Tile and grout repairs
- Minor plumbing-related maintenance
- Faucet, toilet, and fixture replacement
- Appliance installation and removal
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Water-damage demolition and restoration work
- Pressure washing and exterior maintenance
- Deck, railing, stair, and fence repairs
- Suite turnover and deficiency repairs
- General renovation work
- Material pickups and job-site preparation
- Cleanup and disposal




- Other maintenance and construction tasks as required

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who can walk into a property, assess what needs to be done, and confidently work toward a skilled repair.

The ideal candidate:

- Has hands-on experience in multiple construction or maintenance trades
- Is comfortable working independently
- Can troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
- Takes pride in clean, professional workmanship
- Can communicate respectfully with tenants, property managers, clients, and other trades
- Is dependable and shows up when scheduled
- Can manage multiple work orders and changing priorities
- Understands the importance of protecting occupied homes and keeping work areas clean
- Knows when a job is within their abilities and when a licensed or specialized trade is required
- Can take before, during, and after photos and provide clear job updates
- Is willing to learn new skills and take on different types of projects

Experience

Experience in several of the following is an asset:

Maintenance • Renovations • Drywall • Painting • Carpentry • Flooring • Tile • Plumbing Maintenance • Appliance Installation • Building Maintenance • Property Restoration

You do not need to be a certified expert in every trade.



We are looking for someone with a strong overall skill set who can handle a wide variety of everyday property repairs and renovations.

Requirements

- Previous maintenance, renovation, construction, or handyman experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic hand tools
- Smartphone for scheduling, photos, and work-order communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Ability to safely perform physical construction and maintenance work
- Professional attitude when working in occupied residential buildings
- Strong attention to detail

About the Role

Our clients rely on Property Partners Contracting to solve problems.

One day you may be repairing drywall and painting a suite. The next could involve replacing trim, repairing a door, installing an appliance, fixing flooring, completing deficiencies, or working with the crew on a larger renovation.
