Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Burlington, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production machinery safely and efficiently, monitoring product quality, and following established production procedures.
The selected candidate will initially receive on-the-job training from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Once training is completed, the regular working shift will be 3:30 PM to 12:20 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery according to established procedures.
- Load and unload materials/components into machinery.
- Perform basic machine adjustments as required.
- Monitor machines during production to ensure proper operation.
- Inspect finished products for quality and identify defects.
- Follow production specifications, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Perform basic measurements and quality checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report machine issues, quality concerns, or production problems to the supervisor.
- Complete required production and quality records.
- Follow all company health and safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet production targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or production machinery is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Basic understanding of machine operation and production processes.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valuable attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and complete required training.
- Ability to work the 3:30 PM – 12:20 AM shift after training.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
