About the clinic

Spectrum by Equalis Health is a virtual-first sexual health clinic serving patients across Alberta. Our nurse practitioner team provides PrEP, STI screening and treatment at no cost to patients, supported by a full administrative team, Jane EMR, and Alberta Netcare access. We are adding physician services to broaden the scope of insured care we can offer Albertans and are looking for a physician who wants clinical work without the administrative burden of running a practice.

The arrangement

- You bill AHCIP directly under your own practitioner ID for all services you provide
- You retain 70–75% of your billings; the clinic's overhead fee covers everything below
- Sessions are flexible: virtual from anywhere in Alberta, with an equipped consult room available at our Calgary clinic, for in-person visits when clinically needed
- Minimum commitment of two half-day sessions per week, scheduled around your availability
- No lease, no staffing costs, no software licences, no marketing spend

What we provide

- Fully booked patient flow from our existing patient base and active marketing channels
- Medical office assistant support: booking, reminders, intake screening, requisition handling
- Jane EMR with established clinical workflows, lab requisition tooling, and Netcare integration




- Billing reconciliation support and monthly remittance statements

What we're looking for

- Independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, in good standing with no conditions
- Active CMPA coverage and an AHCIP billing arrangement (or willingness to set one up; we can assist)
- Comfort with virtual care and the CPSA virtual care standard
- Clinical interest in sexual health, preventive care, or primary care; experience with PrEP or STI management is an asset but not required
- Team-oriented approach: you will work alongside two experienced nurse practitioners and may take on a paid medical director role if mutually agreed
