True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Culinary Coordinator to join our team at Canada Life Centre.
The Culinary Coordinatorprovides administrative and operational support to the culinary department, ensuring accurate record keeping, reporting, and coordination of daily activities. Assists with scheduling, purchasing, inventory tracking, and compliance documentation. Supports culinary leadership in maintaining efficient and organized food service operations.
What to be excited for in this role:
- Provide administrative support to the culinary leadership team and food & beverage operations.
- Maintain culinary records, recipes, production sheets, inventory reports, and operational documentation.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll submissions, attendance tracking, and employee records management.
- Coordinate purchasing requests, vendor communications, and product ordering processes.
- Prepare reports related to food costs, labor costs, inventory, and operational performance.
- Maintain and update menus, recipe databases, and food production documentation.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, invoices, and product deliveries.
- Ensure compliance documentation for food safety, sanitation, and health regulations is maintained.
- Assist with event planning, production schedules, and culinary logistics.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documentation accurately and on time.
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and communications for culinary staff.
- Maintain confidential employee and operational information.
- Support chefs and managers with administrative projects and operational initiatives.
- Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and continuous improvement programs.

- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Data entry and record-keeping accuracy
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial reporting and document management skills
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
- Experience with inventory, purchasing, or payroll systems is an asset
