General Labourer — Tank Cleaning (Temp to Perm) - Cookstown, ON | Full-Time | Day Shift | Starting at $23/hr

We're looking for a dependable, hard-working General Labourer to join a busy tank-cleaning team in Cookstown. This is a steady, hands-on role with no shortage of work — if you show up ready to put in a solid day, this could be the start of something long-term. No experience needed: we train you.

- $23.00/hr to start

The Role

- Clean the inside and outside of tanker trailers — from top to bottom
- Operate a pressure washer and scrub surfaces as needed
- Use a spinner (a machine that drops into the tanker hatch and blasts the interior with high-pressure water)
- Climb in and out of the tank using a hatch-mounted ladder
- Work in a large confined space — confined space training is provided
- Dry the unit thoroughly after washing




- Take breaks together with your lead hand throughout the day

What We're Looking For

- Reliability is everything — someone who shows up and gets the work done
- Comfortable with physical, repetitive work in a wet setting (floors can be slippery)
- Comfortable climbing in and out of tanks and working in a confined space
- Robust work ethic — this is a steady-roll position with little downtime
- Willingness to learn — the job is taught on the job, start to finish

Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- Start time between 8:00 – 8:30 AM
- Typically finish around 3:30 – 4:00 PM - Longer days can run until 5:00 – 6:00 PM
- Overtime paid after 44 hours/week
