Job Summary

We are currently hiring Production workers for a busy meat processing and manufacturing facility in Mississauga. The successful candidates will work in the RAW department, handling and processing raw meat products while following strict food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general production duties in the RAW meat processing department
- Handle, move, and process raw meat products and materials
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 kg / 50 lbs
- Assist with meat preparation, processing, and production activities
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Follow instructions from supervisors and production managers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary production area
- Perform repetitive production and physical handling duties
- Work efficiently in a rapid-paced meat processing environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements





Requirements

- Rubber, steel-toed boots are mandatory
- Previous meat processing, food production, manufacturing, or general labour experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of English to understand and follow instructions from supervisors
- Comfortable handling and working with raw meat products
- Ability to safely lift and handle up to 25 kg / 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment of approximately 4°C
- Physically capable of performing repetitive production and lifting duties
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Must be willing to follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 42.0 – 46.0 per week
