Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a solid desire to contribute to the beautification and maintenance of various landscapes. This role involves physical labor and requires the ability to work in diverse weather conditions while utilizing various tools and equipment.
Duties
- Build and maintain landscape features, including gardens, pathways, and decorative elements.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig, plant, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
- Irrigate landscapes effectively to ensure healthy plant growth.
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and mulching.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
- Familiarity with gardening techniques and plant care is beneficial.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Drivers License is an asset
