Ø Work under the direction of the Facility Manager on all tasks assigned to the position.

Ø Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing

the work of subordinate employees

Ø Evaluates and verifies employee performance through a review of completed work

assignments and work techniques.

Ø Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures the training is obtained.

Ø Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.

Ø Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence relative to the work.

Ø Develops, implements and evaluates nursing programs, nursing care plans and

objectives for the work area.

Ø Supervises and participates in the provision of general nursing care services.

Ø Supervises admissions, conducts assessment of patients needs and initiates nursing

care plans.

Ø Evaluates and documents patient progress.

Ø Coordinates with Community Care the Policies and procedures for Placement in our

facility.

Ø Conducts research and surveys pertaining to nursing and health education issues and

prepare reports.

Ø Serves as a Liaison between staff and other areas within the facility at large, and as an

advisor to other disciplines.

Ø Assesses needs for personal, supplies, equipment and physical facilities for budget

planning.

Ø Participates in clinical conferences, workshops, in services, seminars and related

forums

Ø Participates in facility security and emergency procedures.

Ø Performs related work as assigned.





Ø Leadership:

Ø Follows up with appropriate staff, residents, or other individuals regarding reported

complaints, problems, and concerns.

Ø Uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally

charge situations.

Ø Acts as ambassador and public relations representative to guests and other off-campus

visitors.

Ø Maintains all certification required for employment.

Other Duties:

Ø Demonstrates an appreciation of the heritage, values, and wisdom of the residents and

Ø an understanding of the aging process.

Ø Attends and participates in staff meetings.

Ø Assists with quality assurance programs when indicated.

Ø Assists in training of new staff.

In the absence of facility Manager you are required to get all the direction from Office Manger.

Pay: $38.00-$43.00 per hour
