Foresight Sports Canada

Role Description & Objective

Foresight Sports Canada is looking for a hands-on Marketing Coordinator who is ready to build their career by working across a broad range of marketing activities. This is an execution-focused role for someone who enjoys getting things done, staying organized, learning new skills and taking increasing ownership as their experience grows.

Working closely with marketing leadership, Sales and external agency and vendor partners, the Marketing Coordinator will help turn marketing plans into action across campaigns, email, social media, paid advertising, websites, CRM, events, content and sales support.

We are looking for someone with a solid marketing foundation, approximately 2-3 years of relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the curiosity and initiative to continue developing their capabilities on the job.

The right person will be comfortable learning by doing, asking questions when needed, receiving direction and feedback, and following through on commitments.

Role Value

The Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in keeping Foresight Sports Canada's marketing activities organized, moving forward and connected across the business. The position supports the execution of product launches, campaigns, promotions, content, events, lead-generation initiatives and sales activities within the Canadian market.

Success in this position comes from reliable execution, attention to detail, continuous learning and follow-through. As the individual develops greater knowledge of Foresight's products, customers, systems and marketing processes, they will be encouraged to take increasing ownership of their responsibilities.

Primary Deliverables & Measures of Success

1. Marketing Execution

Support the execution of email, social media, paid advertising, website updates, promotions and other marketing initiatives. Campaigns and activities should be delivered accurately, professionally and on time, with increasing independence as experience develops.

2. CRM & Lead Management

Maintain accurate lead, campaign and marketing information within Foresight's CRM and associated marketing platforms. Lead sources should be properly maintained, duplicate and inaccurate records minimized, and Sales provided with reliable marketing information.

3. Content & Asset Coordination

Help coordinate the development, approval, organization and distribution of marketing content and creative assets. Content and assets should be delivered on schedule, remain current and follow Foresight's brand standards.

4. Marketing Performance Support

Help collect, organize and report on campaign, lead-generation and marketing performance so leadership has timely, accurate information to evaluate results and make informed decisions.

Job Expectations

Translate marketing plans into organized, high-quality execution, ensuring campaigns, content, events, lead-generation activities and supporting projects are delivered accurately, consistently and on time. The employee is expected to build capability over time rather than arrive as an expert in every marketing discipline.

Major Functions

% Major Functions (indicate essential functions with an asterisk (*))

20% Marketing Campaign Coordination & Execution

Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives according to established plans, priorities, timelines and brand guidelines. Help ensure required assets, approvals, communications and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Learn how different marketing channels work together and develop increasing responsibility for campaign execution over time.

10% Content & Digital Marketing Support

Support marketing activities across websites, email, social media, paid advertising and other digital channels. Coordinate content development,

scheduling, publishing and updates with internal team members and external partners. The successful candidate is not expected to be an expert practitioner across every digital channel, but should be interested in developing a working understanding of each.

5% Event & Promotional Support

Coordinate marketing requirements for trade shows, customer events, demonstrations, sponsorships, promotions and other activations. Help manage logistics, marketing materials, communications, deadlines and post-event follow-up.

10% Marketing Materials & Brand Consistency

Coordinate the creation, maintenance and distribution of digital assets, presentations, product information, sales collateral, signage and promotional materials. Work with internal and external creative resources to ensure materials are accurate, current, professional and consistent with established brand standards.

Maintain marketing and customer information within CRM and marketing platforms. Support contact segmentation, campaign lists, lead tracking, source attribution, data quality and other activities necessary for effective marketing execution and reporting. Previous CRM experience is an asset; familiarity with Zoho One is particularly valuable. Training and practical experience will form part of the individual's continued development.

10% Performance Tracking & Reporting

Collect and organize performance information across campaigns, digital channels, events and lead-generation programs. Prepare regular reports identifying important metrics, results and trends for review with marketing leadership and external partners. The coordinator will be expected to develop their ability to understand what the numbers mean, rather than simply compiling them.

10% Agency, Contractor & Vendor Coordination

Act as an important day-to-day contact between Foresight and its agencies, contractors, suppliers, printers, event partners and other marketing vendors. Communicate requirements, provide information and assets, track deliverables, coordinate approvals and help keep projects moving. Specialist partners will provide expertise within their respective disciplines. The Marketing Coordinator's responsibility is to develop enough understanding of these areas to communicate effectively, coordinate the work and ensure commitments are followed through.

5% Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and other internal stakeholders to ensure marketing activities support broader business priorities. Maintain clear communication regarding project status, deadlines, requirements and outstanding actions.

5% Asset Tracking, Organization & Follow-Through

Maintain organized marketing files, assets and documentation. Track outstanding requirements, identify potential issues early and follow through on commitments. The expectation is not that a new employee knows everything immediately. The expectation is that they take responsibility for learning, stay organized and become increasingly self-sufficient.
