The Faculty of Arts is seeking qualified Contract Academic Staff (CAS) to teach the following course taught in the Business Administration Department at the Brandon University Campus for Winter Session in Term 2. The course may be delivered in an online synchronous format but preference will be given to qualified candidates who will teach in-person.

Qualifications: Successful candidate will hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, and those holding a Ph.D. or who are at the ABD stage may be preferred. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Master’s degree and are invited to contact the Chair of the Selection Committee on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials. Relevant expertise in the specified area is required.

Successful teaching experience is preferred.

Salary: $8,132 per 3 credit hour course.

Application deadline: A review of applications will begin September 21, 2026, and the posting will remain open until the position(s) is filled.

Winter Term: Classes run from January 5 to April 9, 2027, with an exam period following.

16: 396 STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT (Wed. 7-10pm) – Winter 2027

The course will cover the principles, concepts and analytical structures that have been developed to assist senior management with the formulation and implementation of business strategy.



Analysis of cases drawn from a variety of industries and business environments and occasionally a business simulation will be used to develop expertise in the application of the relevant techniques and intuition to the strategic issues that real world companies face. Most of the theory and concepts used will draw from other disciplines in business and economics.
