We are seeking a dynamic and dependable 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our team and drive our heavy-duty trucks with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 5-ton truck for local and regional freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulation.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns before each journey
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, freight documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and commercial driving

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record or class 5 with airbrakes
- Proven experience operating 5-ton trucks or similar heavy vehicles in a commercial setting
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
- Ability to perform detailed pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
- Robust communication skills and a commitment to safety standards
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, including lifting heavy items when necessary
