Adora Bright Pediatric Therapy Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate ABA Assistant / Behaviour Therapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team.

Adora Bright operates across two locations in York Region and provides multidisciplinary services to children and youth with autism and other developmental needs.

This is an entry-to-intermediate clinical support position working under the direction and clinical supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA). The successful candidate will support the implementation of individualized ABA programs while developing their practical skills within a structured and supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct 1:1 and small-group ABA support to children and youth.
- Implement individualized programs, teaching procedures, and behaviour-support strategies developed by the supervising RBA.
- Follow Behaviour Support Plans and other clinical protocols as directed.
- Collect accurate data and maintain required clinical documentation.
- Complete clear and professional session notes within required timelines.
- Prepare materials and the therapy environment prior to sessions.
- Support skill development in areas such as communication, play, social skills, emotional regulation, independence, daily living skills, and executive functioning.
- Use reinforcement, prompting, modelling, naturalistic teaching, and other ABA strategies as trained and directed.
- Observe client progress and communicate relevant information to the supervising RBA.
- Seek clinical guidance when programs, behaviours, or client needs require clarification.
- Participate in clinical supervision, training, team meetings, and competency development.
- Collaborate professionally with other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain client dignity, assent, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and safety at all times.
- Follow Adora Bright policies, procedures,



documentation standards, and professional expectations.

Qualifications
- Diploma, degree, or current enrollment in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Autism and Behavioural Science, Child and Youth Care, Developmental Services, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children with autism or developmental needs is preferred.
- Previous ABA experience is an asset but not required for candidates with relevant education and strong potential.
- Understanding of basic ABA principles is an asset.
- Solid communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to accept feedback and implement clinical direction consistently.
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a clinical team.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and supervision.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check required.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

Position Details Job Type: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available

Location: On-site at Adora Bright locations in York Region

Clinical Supervision: Provided by Registered Behaviour Analysts (RBAs)

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the field of ABA.

This position is particularly well suited for a recent graduate, Autism and Behavioural Science graduate, psychology/behavioural science student or graduate, or someone with experience supporting children who wants to develop stronger hands-on ABA skills.

The successful candidate will be warm and engaging with children, receptive to feedback, reliable, professional, and able to consistently implement the clinical direction provided by the supervising RBA.

Adora Bright provides the opportunity to gain practical experience within a multidisciplinary pediatric environment while receiving ongoing clinical supervision, training, and professional development.

Pay: $20.14-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
