Role Description The Accounting Clerk role at OMEX is a full-time, on-site position based in Oak Bluff, MB.

The Accounting

Clerk will perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, processing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate ledgers.

Responsibilities include assisting with payroll entries, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and supporting month-end close procedures. The role will involve preparing basic financial reports,



organizing supporting documentation, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure timely and compliant financial processes.

The Accounting

Clerk will also respond to internal and external inquiries, help improve accounting workflows, and support other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Proficiency with accounting software and related digital tools.
- Strong bookkeeping skills, including transaction recording and account reconciliation.
- Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
- Ability to assist in preparing and reviewing basic financial statements.
- Relevant post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and solid organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in an agricultural or manufacturing setting is an asset.
- Experience in data analytics is an asset.
