United Beverage Solutions Inc. (UBS) is a growing sales, marketing and distribution company serving the foodservice, hospitality, coffee, office, convenience and beverage industries across Canada, the United States and international markets.

Our portfolio includes commercial beverage equipment; coffee and refresher concentrates for both our equipment and existing equipment in the marketplace; Urnex specialty cleaning and maintenance products; Vivreau water and filtration solutions; and ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Accounting & Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting and operational administration of UBS.

This is a broad role for someone who enjoys understanding the entire flow of a business. From placing the purchase order and tracking inventory through fulfilling the customer order, invoicing, collecting payment and making sure everything reconciles.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Accounting & Finance

- Full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Customer invoicing and collections
- Supplier invoice processing and payments
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- General ledger entries, accruals and month-end reconciliations
- Assistance with monthly P&L;, balance sheet and year-end requirements
- HST, foreign currency and landed-cost accounting where applicable
- Regular reporting on AR, AP, cash requirements, inventory and financial performance

Purchasing, Inventory & Logistics
- Prepare and place purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers
- Track orders from placement through production, shipment and receipt
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile inventory with warehouse/3PL reporting
- Monitor inventory levels, shortages and replenishment requirements
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with suppliers,



warehouses, carriers and customs brokers
- Investigate and resolve inventory, freight and receiving discrepancies

Customer & Order Management
- Process customer orders and coordinate fulfillment
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing
- Track shipments and customer deliveries
- Work closely with sales to ensure customer commitments are met
- Resolve shortages, discrepancies, deductions and credits

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who likes being the person who knows where everything stands.

You are highly organized, comfortable with numbers, detail-oriented and capable of working independently. When something doesn't reconcile, you investigate it. When an order is late, you follow it through. When an account is overdue, you deal with it. And when you see a better way of doing something, you bring it forward.

Ideally, you have:

- 5+ years of progressive accounting, bookkeeping or operations experience
- Solid practical experience with AP, AR, collections, reconciliations and month-end
- Experience with purchasing, inventory and order management
- Strong Excel and accounting/ERP system skills
- Experience in distribution, wholesale, foodservice, beverage, equipment or consumer products
- Experience with international suppliers, importing, foreign currency or 3PL warehouses is an asset

A formal accounting designation is an asset but not required. Practical accounting ability, sound business judgment and the ability to take ownership are more important to us.
