About the role

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Technician will oversee cash operations, execute bank reconciliations, and process customer receipts. This role requires a candidate who can navigate complex ERP environments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct daily cash functions and monitor liquidity positions.
- Complete regular bank reconciliations and resolve any found variances.
- Record and allocate customer remittances precisely within the ERP system.
- Generate counter sales invoices while maintaining thorough supporting files.
- Apply revenue recognition principles in line with corporate and accounting standards.
- Draft and post essential journal entries for the monthly closing process.
- Maintain detailed GL schedules and audit trails for period-end reviews.
- Assist with audit requirements and address inquiries regarding account balances.
- Partner with internal departments to streamline workflows and resolve financial discrepancies.

What we're looking for:

- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.




- At least 2 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a large-scale ERP environment.
- Proven proficiency in reconciliations, revenue recognition, and month-end procedures.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and a high degree of precision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to perform both independently and collaboratively.
- Technical familiarity with SAP or Oracle Financial modules beneficial
- Understanding of IFRS or local GAAP frameworks for revenue.
- Previous engagement with corporate treasury or cash management functions.
- Experience developing documentation for external audit verification
