Summary of Position
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Coordinator to provide financial, administrative and clerical services.
An Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of a company related to customer invoices and payments. They ensure timely collections and accurate recording of transactions while maintaining strong relationships with clients. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Job Type: Full-time/ hybrid
Job Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Process Customer remittances and deductions. Process customer payments (EDI, Wire Transfers, and Cheques)
- Follow up with customers on outstanding payments and resolve any payment discrepancies
- Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner and keep the accounts current.
- Manage collection efforts
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on accounts receivable status to Manager
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments
- Assist with month-end closing and annual audit processes
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to accounts receivable management
Qualifications
- College diploma in Accounting or Commerce
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable in a 3PL Logistics company is required
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Experience in freight forward and transportation industry is an asset.

Remuneration:
- Base Salary: 43K – 46K
- Extended group health and dental
- RRSP up to 5% match
