Job Summary The Faculty of Management offers world-class management education that organizations value. We prepare students and employees to work with, inspire and lead others to tackle complex challenges and achieve responsible results. Reporting jointly to the Assistant Dean, Student Success and Experience and the Associate Dean Academic, the Administrative Assistant supports undergraduate students, advising operations, and academic program administration within the Faculty of Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for undergraduate student inquiries, providing information on programs, registration, academic policies, scholarships, and university procedures.
- Coordinate advising operations, including triaging student requests, scheduling meetings for advisors and program staff, and supporting student success initiatives and events.
- Maintain and manage student records, correspondence, program documentation, transfer credit information,



and academic administration processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report on student and program data, including work-term eligibility, advising metrics, surveys, and convocation reviews
- Provide administrative support for undergraduate governance by coordinating committee meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, tracking decisions, and supporting institutional reporting requirements.
- Assist with curriculum reviews, course evaluations, timetable management, academic integrity processes, program quality assurance, and student recruitment activities.

Note Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in person on campus.

Required Qualifications

- Business/office administration program with three to five years’ administrative experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail when managing records, reports, meeting documentation, and academic program information.
- Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data to support student services, program administration, and decision-making.

Assets

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Banner and interest in using AI-enabled tools.
