Are you a highly organized person with solid administrative skills? Reporting to the Executive Director and working with an amazing and dedicated team, the Administrative Coordinator provides a variety of office administration, human resource, board support and client services for Greenwoods Long Term Care, Braehaven Assisted Living, and our Community Programs.
Our team has the privilege of working to support the needs of seniors on Salt Spring Island and we strive to make every moment matter for our residents and clients.
What you’ll do:
· Executive & Organizational Coordination
· Board & Governance Coordination
· Admissions & Resident Intake Coordination
· Recruitment & HR Administrative Coordination
· Fund Development Committee & Donor Coordination
· Website & Communications Coordination
· Organizational Support & Quality Coordination
What you bring:
· Grade 12 and a diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field
· 3–5 years of progressive administrative or coordination experience
· Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or non-profit sector preferred
· Experience supporting Board governance, admissions processes,
or fundraising activities is an asset
· Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
· Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment within established policies and procedures
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with residents/clients, leadership, staff, board, families, volunteers, and external partners
· Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database or content management systems
· Physical ability to carry out duties of the position
· Ability to operate related equipment
· Eligible to work with vulnerable adults under the BC Criminal Records Review Program.
· Proof of negative TB screen and immunization status
Pay: $25.36-$33.28 per hour
