Your Opportunity
The Contract Strategy and Performance (CS&P;) team supports the business relationships between Emergency Health Services (EHS) Alberta and its contracted service partners. The team is responsible for contract management and procurement activities related to ground and air ambulance services, aviation and rotary wing operations, and various non-service agreements. As an Administrative Support IV, you will play a key role in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment by providing administrative and operational support across the CS&P; portfolio.
Working independently with minimal supervision, you will coordinate contract-related processes, manage documentation, support financial administration, prepare reports, and facilitate communications. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with senior leaders, stakeholders, and team members are essential. This position supports a provincial team responsible for managing contracted service partner relationships and maintaining critical administrative processes that contribute to the delivery of emergency health services across Alberta.
Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications
Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of administrative support experience.
Experience working in a healthcare environment required. EMS or emergency services experience is considered an asset. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and MS Teams.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Displayed ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Proven attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in administrative and financial processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative Assistant, Business Administration Certificate, or equivalent post-secondary education.
Experience supporting contract management, procurement, vendor relations, or service partner administration.
Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems, including e-People.
Experience with finance systems include I-expense and Markview.
Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and geographically dispersed teams.
