Job Summary

Do you love working with adults, teens/children and families. Are you a Masters Level MSW, Registered Psychotherapist-or an RPQ?Are you an experienced (2+ years full clinical work) skilled, trained in Child/Teen and Family therapy who wants to focus on meaningful client work without the clinic costs, admin headaches, marketing stress, or solo-practice burnout?

Lakeland Therapy Centre is growing, and we’re inviting a warm, experienced clinician to join our boutique team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in working with children, teens and adults with variety of mental health challenges (anxiety, depression, trauma, distress intolerance, family dynamics).The successful candidate will work with children and youth (ages 7–18) and adults presenting with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, trauma, or family transitions. They will also work closely with parents to provide parent coaching, psychoeducation, and support for building secure, connected relationships at home.

Lakeland Therapy Centre is a growing hybrid psychotherapy clinic based in Toronto’s Beaches area, dedicated to helping people thrive. We specialize in individual, couples, child/teen therapy, trauma, anxiety, burnout and more, offering personalized, evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, ERP, PE and integrative therapies.We're Looking For Someone Who:

- Is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (MSW), PRQ in good standing with the CRPO or OCSWSSW.
- Has 2+ years experience directly working with adults, children or teens and family therapy, parent coaching in this area
- Has experience supporting adults, children/teen/family clients through a variety of clinical issues, divorce, blended families, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, self esteem issues, school avoidance, more challenging presentations of SH etc.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions for adults, children/teens/families
- Complete comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and document client progress in accordance with professional standards.




- Provide individual and parent sessions focused on topics such as emotion regulation, social challenges, and navigating neurodivergence.
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support the ongoing development and well-being of the client.
- Experience and education with parent training and coaching programs
- The experience or the wish to conduct family therapy.
- Offer therapy both virtually and in person at our Beaches office (Queen East & Woodbine)
- Commit to 2 in-person 5hr client shifts per week, with additional 1 day of remote flexibility
- Be able to work at least 1 evening and or weekend shift.
- Maintain timely, compliant documentation through JaneApp.
- Maintain a caseload of 12–18 clients/week
- Collaborate with our clinical team and participate in optional peer case consultation.
- Commit to ongoing clinical learning and self-reflection.

- Competitive compensation: Fully Registered:108–$162 per session (55–90 min). And for RPQ's $75 -$110 for 55 to 90min sessions)

- Demonstrated knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Child and Family Services Act, Mental Health, and relevant policies and legislation,



such as the Mental Health Act and PHIPA

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

- Graduate-level training in social work or psychotherapy with focus on Child-Teen Familiy therapy and additional training related to Child Teen Family therapy or Parent Coaching
- Willingness to work two in-person shifts (5 hours/shift) per week — including at least one evening or weekend
- Client Hours: Provide at least beween 12-18 client hours per week, or more if they wish (including at least 1-2 evening or weekend shifts)
- · Insurance: Maintain personal liability insurance with coverage of at least $2 million.
- · Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes within the guidelines of your regulatory college body
- · Scheduling: Manage your own schedule and communicate effectively with the team.
- · Required Equipment: You must bring your own computer and any other necessary tools for remote work.
- · Location: You must be willing to travel to our Beaches location (Queen and Woodbine), be currently living and practicing in Ontario and licensed to practice the controlled act of Social Work or Psychology, Counseling or Registered Psychotherapy in the province. You must live within the reasonable travel distance to the clinic (Beaches are of Toronto)
