Role Overview: Support daily after school programming, supervise children, lead activities and provide homework assistance to children ages 4-12. Job Location: Holy Trinity Elementary (10 Doyle's and Quigley Lane Torbay, NL)

Required Qualifications:

- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Experience working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to assist students with K-6 homework.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education completed or in progress
- Post-secondary interest or focus in: Education, Physical Education, Child & Youth Care, Social Work, French, or related field.

Assets:

- French Immersion background or fluency
- Experience in camps, recreation or other child care settings
- Experience supporting diverse learning needs
- Sports, arts, music, STEM skills and interest

Key Responsibilities:

- Promote a positive and inclusive environment

- Holy Trinity Elementary (Torbay) 1:50pm-5:30pm
- Beachy Cove Elementary (Portugal Cove-St. Philip's) 2:40pm-5:30pm
