Program 1 - Entrepreneurial Intelligence (Grades 4-7):

You'll guide students through the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and financial literacy through interactive activities and real-world scenarios-helping them think like innovators and build confidence in their ideas.

Program 2 - Linguistic Intelligence & Nature (Grades K-4):

You'll lead young learners in exploring global writing systems and phonemic awareness through harvest-themed stories, music, games, and hands-on crafts using natural materials like leaves and flowers. This term features Spanish as the primary language, with connections to French, Chinese, and Japanese-all while blending language, art, and outdoor exploration.

Ideal candidates will:

- Be comfortable guiding hands-on activities-no prior linguistics or business expertise required, just enthusiasm and a love for teaching!

- Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in either entrepreneurship and financial literacy (Grades 4-7) or linguistics and nature-based crafts (K-4), depending on your assigned program
- Plan and lead activities that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in the Entrepreneurial Intelligence program
- Guide young learners through language exploration using stories, music, games, and seasonal crafts in the Linguistic Intelligence & Nature program
- Create a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and explore




- Organize outdoor and nature-integrated activities that connect language learning with creative expression (Linguistic program) or real-world entrepreneurial scenarios (Entrepreneurial program)
- Supervise students at all times to ensure their safety and well-being during indoor and outdoor activities
- Prepare and organize materials needed for each session, including crafts, worksheets, and activity supplies
- Communicate effectively with program coordinators regarding student progress, supply needs, and any concerns

Requirements:

- Experience teaching, leading groups, or working with children in the relevant age groups (K-4 or Grades 4-7)
- Ability to deliver interactive, age-appropriate lessons that keep students engaged and excited to learn
- Comfortable working with children in both indoor and outdoor settings
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full session schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background or interest in education, linguistics, entrepreneurship, business, or a related field
- Fluency or familiarity with Spanish, French, Chinese, or Japanese (strong asset for the Linguistic program)
- Previous experience in afterschool programs, summer camps, or youth education
- Experience with nature-based crafts, hands-on projects, or creative activities
- First Aid/CPR certification (asset)

Job Types: Part time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
