NOC: 93200 Vacancies: 5 Duties &

Responsibilities: Study and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand assembly requirements Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components according to specifications Assemble sheet metal parts and components to create sub-assemblies or finished products, adhering to strict quality standards Conduct thorough inspections of assembled components to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to aerospace industry standards Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances, making adjustments as necessary Safely handle and store sheet metal materials, ensuring proper organization and inventory control Work closely with other members of the manufacturing team, including engineers and machinists, to achieve seamless integration of sheet metal components into larger assemblies Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment Education and Professional Qualifications:



Completion of a college or other program in aviation or aeronautical technology, with a focus in aircraft manufacturing, is required Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required Any additional technical or trades qualifications/certificates, or training would be considered an asset Ability to complete a criminal background check Skills &

Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience as an assembler. 2 years of manufacturing, aerospace, warehousing or construction experience is considered an asset Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery Ability to interpret and understand drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications Strong verbal and written communication skills (English) Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety guidelines Position opening: Aircraft Assembler Company Name: De Havilland Canada Business Address: 4100 Westwinds Dr NE Calgary, AB T3J 4L2 Language of Work: English Term: Permanent, full-time Salary: $27.73 - $35.65 CAD per year, per collective agreement Benefits: MSP Premiums, Health and Welfare plan including vision, dental & drug coverage, per collective agreement.
